Acceptable Use Policy — AI-Generated Content

Last Updated: August 20, 2026

Deckgist ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to providing safe, lawful, and responsible AI-generated content services. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to all content generated, published, distributed, or stored through the Platform and sets out our content standards, moderation and reporting procedures, and enforcement actions. All users and developers using the Platform must comply with this Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to all supported content types, including:

  • Text: AI-generated text, presentation copy, dialogue, code, articles, outlines, and related written content.
  • Images: AI-generated or edited images, illustrations, and visual assets.
  • Presentations: generated slides, templates, layouts, exports, and shared presentation content.
  • User Inputs: prompts, instructions, uploaded files, images, and supported audio or video reference materials submitted by users.

2. Content Standards and Prohibited Categories

The Platform prohibits generating, uploading, storing, publishing, or distributing the following categories of content:

  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, or NSFW content.
  • Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies violence.
  • Hate speech or content that targets protected groups.
  • Child-unsafe content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Deceptive deepfakes or impersonation of real people, brands, or organizations.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights.

2.1 Absolutely Prohibited — Zero Tolerance

The following content will be actioned immediately and may be reported to relevant authorities:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
  • Content that promotes, supports, recruits for, or facilitates terrorism, violent extremism, or mass violence.
  • Technical instructions intended to enable the creation or use of weapons of mass destruction.
  • Content inciting genocide, ethnic hatred, or mass atrocities.
  • Non-consensual deepfake sexual content targeting real individuals.
  • Any other content whose creation, possession, or distribution is prohibited by applicable law.

2.2 Restricted — Subject to Review

  • Adult content: adult or sexually explicit content may be permitted only on an expressly enabled, age-verified, and legally compliant service. Deckgist does not currently provide such a mode, so this content is prohibited on the Platform.
  • Violent content: non-graphic content must have a legitimate creative, educational, historical, or newsworthy context and must not encourage real-world harm.
  • Politically sensitive content: content may be reviewed where it is deceptive, misleading, or presented as verified fact without a reasonable basis.
  • Medical, legal, or financial information: content must comply with applicable laws and must not be presented as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

2.3 Generally Prohibited Conduct

  • Generating or spreading materially false information, fabricated evidence, or claims known to be disproven.
  • Impersonating real individuals, brands, or organizations without authorization or in a manner likely to deceive others.
  • Infringing intellectual property, publicity, confidentiality, or privacy rights.
  • Deceptively presenting AI-generated content as verified human-created content where disclosure is legally required or its omission would materially mislead others.
  • Bulk-generating spam, phishing material, scams, or deceptive commercial content.
  • Using jailbreak prompts or other methods designed to bypass the Platform's safety measures.

3. Content Moderation

We operate a multi-layer moderation system that combines automated review, human review, and periodic audits.

3.1 Automated Review

Requests and generated content are subject to automated, real-time safety review, which may include:

  • Input filtering: keyword, semantic, and intent detection applied to prompts and submitted content.
  • Output filtering: safety assessment of generated content before or during delivery.
  • Usage-pattern analysis: monitoring for anomalous, abusive, or automated usage patterns.
  • Safety systems: AI-provider safety filters and Platform safety controls.

3.2 Human Review

  • Content flagged by automated systems may be referred to designated moderation personnel for review.
  • User-reported content is manually reviewed where necessary to make or confirm an enforcement decision.
  • Review personnel receive content-safety guidance and are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Human review is conducted consistently with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

3.3 Periodic Audits

  • We conduct quarterly random sampling to evaluate content-safety controls and enforcement consistency.
  • We regularly evaluate and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our safety classifiers and review processes.
  • We do not currently represent that these audits are conducted by an independent third party.
